Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Aureate Travel. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our travel planning services, digital products, and website at aureatetravel.co. By engaging our services or downloading any digital guide, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- Client: You, the individual or group engaging Aureate Travel’s services.
- Services: Custom itinerary planning, on-trip concierge, emergency support, and digital guides.
- Agreement: Our contract for the provision of Services, including these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
Aureate Travel provides bespoke travel planning and concierge services as detailed in your personalised proposal. Digital guides are delivered via Gumroad after purchase.
3. Booking & Payment
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the service fee is due upon acceptance of your proposal.
- The remaining balance is due 14 days before your trip start date (or immediately for digital guides).
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, PayPal, or credit card (via secure link).
4. Cancellation & Refunds
If you cancel more than 30 days before travel, you will forfeit the deposit but pay no further fees. Cancellations within 30 days of travel incur 100% of the service fee. Digital guides are non-refundable once downloaded.
5. Liability & Disclaimers
While we use all reasonable care in planning, Aureate Travel is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from third-party suppliers, natural events, or changes beyond our control. Your contract with hotels, transport, and activity providers is separate.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials, itineraries, and digital guides are the intellectual property of Aureate Travel. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Redistribution or resale is prohibited.
7. Privacy & Data
We collect personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By engaging our Services, you consent to our processing of your data for travel planning purposes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our website is the most current; please review periodically.
